This is going to get pretty nasty, if John Clay is already writing stuff this scathing. I hope that Gillispie sees the picture, resigns, and that the program recovers quickly.
The program can't get much worse. You either lead or get out of the way. We have tried it Barnhart's way now for 7 years. It is time for him and Gillispie to get their sorry butts out of the way and let some BlueBlood interests take over.
What would either of you propose for this team to do differently? We have two problems that have cost us almost all of our losses this year...rebounding and turnovers. Now is it BCG's fault that the depleted team he inherited refuses to rebound the basketball? Isn't rebounding about heart? It isn't really a skill like shooting and there is no excuse for the players, notice i said the players and not the coach, to give up 14, 17, 12, etc...offensive rebounds per game. The problems with our team have nothing to do with coaching and everything to do with the complacent and content with losing attitude that was instilled in our program 4 years ago when we started losing 10+ games per year
