DeCousins had another disappointing game Sunday night. Didn't do much the first 20 minutes. Settled for outside shots. Didn't rebound effectively. Became an observer. Picked up the effort substantially in the 3d quarter, but to little effect.
They can't all be gems. And he was no doubt worn out playing so many games in such a short period of time. Still, he received the trophy for NBA rookie of the month.
Took a shot across the face and after the whistle paid a visit to the offending player. Nothing nasty at all, just had a word with him. But it's the kind of thing he has to stay away from. Refs might view it as confrontational.
