Amazing that anyone would send their child to play for Pitino. Even Pitino won't let his own children be around him.

R.I.P Quincy Miller's career

He's gotta go somewhere, Cal doesnt want or need him now.

I'm sure Cal would still love to have him.

Can't sign em' all.

After Wiltjer committed, giving us two top power forwards, a lot of people thought Quincy (who's a little smaller than either Davis or Wiltjer) would no longer fit. Wonder if that's what Cal told him.

i like Quincy alot, and hes got a great attitude. I wouldve loved for it to work out, but you gotta act fast-- as you Davis or Wiltjer didnt waste any time!
If thats any indication of their passion to contribute to the legacy of Kentucky basketball, then 2011 should be an incredible year!

Not certain but I suspect there has never been a #1 class all verbal a year in advance as this one has done. My how times have changed..... Young prospects are gonna have to commit early and fast to find an open slot at UK while Cal is driving the ship....

driving the ship? : ) "How did you go to The Bahamas?" "I drove."

I would have loved to have had Miller. ("have" comprises over a third of that sentence) And I hope he ends up at UofL. I want UofL and IU strong.

So, while Cal is brushing away some prospects, is he now begging for a shooting guard?

I'm not so sure Quincy Miller has a "great attitude." The kid is very outspoken and "confident" as he puts it. I have read numerous articles with him declaring himself the #1 overall prospect for the class and so on. He is a great talent but as we have seen in the NFL and NBA big talents and big egos could end up causing big drama. Not saying I would not have loved to see him in blue but this is one recruit I have certainly been a little worried about. I'll take Wiltjer and Davis and not think twice about it.
