It's clear Kentucky really does have 10 totally starting-spot-worthy players on its roster

Kentucky's advantage is depth. The team will always be fresh and hopefully will always play aggressive. But the fact is, unless one of the freshmen or (perhaps)Lee emerges as a true blue chip player this team has not one exceptional athlete. Is WCS a great player? IS Poythress? Dakari? The Harrisons? They are all good players. The reality IS, there are several teams that could beat Kentucky. The Dominican Republic illustrated that premise. This season should be challenging and hopefully rewarding, but it is incorrect to assume we have the one of the greatest teams ever.

I'm confused at that post! After the run that ky put together last year to end the season and came so close to another crown was a testiment of coach cals unique recruiting skills! I slong with so many other cat fans were alteady accepting the fact that the twins and poythress and WPS were gone! Instead they decided to stay and merge with another awesome group of freshmen .to say there are other teams that can beat ky this year is fare, any team on a given nite can lose!! But to say that the cats have no great players is like saying LeBron James is over the hill.!! And as far as ky losing to the Dominica n team on there last game my take on that game was that the cats were a little tired n a little bored!! This years group will be a squad that will set the bar for years to come! I've followed college hoops for years, I can honestly say that I've never seen a team with so much talent !!
