Jay Bilas wouldn't be Surprised to see UK in the SEC Title Game

Melanie (Orlando, FL): Hi Jay... it seems that UK is coming into this season with some mixed predictions. What is your take on the Cats this season?

Jay Bilas: (3:01 PM ET ) I thnk Kentucky will be an NCAA Tournament team, and I would not be surprised to see the Cats in the SEC title game. Why Tubby Smith gets so much heat, I will never know. Not only is Tubby a great guy, not a good guy, but a great guy, he is also a truly outstanding coach. This team has Randolph Morris and Joe Crawford back, and has Ramel Bradley to run the point. He has some solid newcomers, and some really good role players (and I use that as a compliment). I like the make-up of this team. Kentucky will play with a chip on its shoulder, and will play together. Remember, Florida lost a bunch of talent, and got better. I am not saying that UK will win the national title, but don't let anyone tell you that Kentuky will be anybody's second fiddle this year. They won't.
