I'm sure Ashley will like Coach Gillispie after she's gotten to know him. It's Unclear if she has even ever met him at this point. Being good friends with Tubby and Donna does make it hard. However Tubby's exit has nothing to do with Coach Gillispie, he just filled the void after the departure.

Coach BCG had nothing to do with Tubby leaving UK for Minnesota.
