I doesn't get much lower than this. Being dominated by an "undermanned" #1 ranked team is not really hard to understand. But the ESPN crew rubbing it in at halftime, losing that 'meaningless' ESPN Poll during the game and poor Ashley Judd sitting in the UNC student section by keeping her word (I respect that).
As they say, "We're lower than a snake's belly in a Wagon Rut." - - it can only go up from here.
Is it just me or does patterson seem a little less than 100 percent? He played good but seemed to have less energy than i remember him having last year. I hope he can catch up from the missed time due to injury. Also, why do people think that a great PG will solve our problems? Will a great point gaurd keep everyone else from throwing the ball away? Will it keep Meeks from throwing up bad shot after bad shot? Will it allow Patterson to get more touches in the low post? The wings feed the post, not the PG. I agree that we do need more leadership from our gaurds, but let's be honest, we need more leadership from ALL of our gaurds.
We need to keep in mind that UNC has several NBA players on its roster and UK has maybe 2. Also when 5 of the 9 UK that played against UNC scored, then one should know that this season is gonna be along the same lines of last year. I believe Meeks, PP both had 19 pts, Harris 15 pts, Stevenson 3pts, Porter 2pts. Also you have to remember that only 4 players on the court played a lot under Gillispie last season. UK is young and has a way to go before they are back were they belong. Keep the faith and remember that UK didn't get this bad over night and it want be fixed over night either. The nightmare will end soon, but not over night. JMHO GO BIG BLUE!!
Oh yea, forgot I check this site on a daily basic for UK info. Keep up the great job you are doing..

Well said Glen - except that part about "only going up". Unfortunately That is still only a wish.
