Reports out of Kentucky and Tennessee, The Louisville Courier-Journal and a Memphis television station are both indicating that John Calipari, has decided to replace Gillispie as basketball coach at UK
Looks like a done deal to UK, but Memphis News Stations are reporting that FedEX founder Fred Smith has been in contact with Calipari in an effort to entice him to stay... apparently offering him stock options in FedEX as part of a deal to match money-wise what UK is offering him.

I believe that contact is several hours old and that it was rejected.
Numerous Memphis tv and radio stations are reporting that it is a done deal.
The Louisville CJ also is on the bandwagon with the Joe B. Hall phone call per Rich Bozich.
No "official" announcement yet, but the evidence is mounting.
let's hope this doesnt end up an april fool joke on ky.
