Aaron - Can you please somehow show when Jerry Tipton is the author of a story that you link? I don't want to avoid your website, but I have vowed to never again read a Tipton Article. I don't even want them to get a hit from clicking on the link to find out. I'm sure that many many other people would be just as happy to know that it is a tipton article so that they could avoid it like the plague as well.
Please don't take sides Aaron. Yes you may very well lose audience share, but the flaming and histrionics that is being allowed, indeed being perpetuated by the administrators and bloggers on the TCP and KSR web sites is a discredit to reason and fairness and ultimately results in a poor image of Kentucky and it's fans.
I absolutely did not ask him to take sides. I merely asked him to inform people of the author of the linked article. In fact, your response is most decidedly more likely to perpetuate taking sides than my completely neutral request. All I asked for was the information to allow me to make an informed decision. Also, there is no possible way to explain Tipton's behavior than to call them outright LIES. The amount of experience that Jerry Tipton has in writing sports articles in proof enough to me that his misinformation was intentional. He quoted a specific bylaw of the NCAA that did not even exist for a rule that does not exist. How freaking stupid do I have to be to believe that this was an accident?
