UK was heavily involved right until the end with Brandan Kearney, but Tom Izzo won his second recruiting victory over Calipari in less than a Week

A recruit's location often plays a big part in his decision. So he lived in MI and decided to stay home. Just another indication that recruiting is not level playing field.
Even Patrick Patterson has said the geography played a part in choosing UK over Florida & Duke.

I dont see how Izzo can get some of the recruits he has. Its Tubby ball at its finest. Such a boring style of play, and personally I dont think hes as great of a coach as some others think. Hes got lucky a few years IMO.
