Minnesota Gophers basketball has failed to gain much, if any, momentum under Tubby Smith

Minnesota deserves what they got in the Tubby deal. Does this criticism sound familiar to UK fans??? Duh . . . He's not a bad coach, but he's not a great one either. AND, he cannot improve the players he recruits.

Wow, some residual Tubby bashing from SoCal. I'll step up: Tubby's only a couple of years into this. Let's wait two more before we start brandishing the pitchforks. He's without his two best players this season. The Gophers are much better than they were without him. And at 13-8, their record is just as good as Louisville's. Fire Pitino?

You know how this works. Local sportswriter creates a stir to make a name for himself and increase the hits on his paper's website. Same as that London, KY, sportswriter who just called Cousins a thug.

Tubby's tenure at Kentucky was so controversial that even today almost three years after he left we are still separated into two camps. The Tubby supporters and the Tubby bashers.

Ok I get to vote like everybody else and I'll put my ballet in the basher box.
