How long can this continues? If he keeps recycling freshmen then he cannot keep using youth as a factor in tournament loses. 5* players are great to have but championships are much better.
Wall and Cousins were once in a decade talents, which set them up for automatically going to the NBA after one year. I'm not convinced that the guys we are recruiting for next year are automatic one and dones. If we were able to nab five top 50 freshmen, it's possible that maybe 2 or fewer would opt for the NBA after 1 year. I assume that this year's turnover is an exception rather than the rule
Don't forget the potential NBA Lockout looms. Will not effect this year other than players trying to get into the possible last draft for some time.
NBA Owners have indicated they are prepared to shut down the NBA starting in 2011 for up to 2 years or until they get their way.
This could lead to either players remaining in college longer (this 2011 Class) or leaving the USA for pay in Europe.
Its hard to say right now what is going to happen its a very volatile time.
OOoops, I mean the 2010 Class.
