I like that theory. Ross found out Jones wasn't "going to the Dawgs," and decided to commit earlier and on his own. I don't like playing those guessing games, but that actually sounds plausible. Their joint announcement was well planned, and something caused it to fall apart.
Perhaps just as plausible, Romar convinced Ross to announce before Friday thinking it might tip the scales for Jones a little in UW's favor. Which both Ross and Romar want.
Tricky game, this. Trying to figure the machinations of teenage minds.
My goodness, you guys are not satified unless you have every *5 player available. (Elephant enter's the room) God forbid Cal has to play with...let's say Butler's line-up from last year. Let it play out and enjoy the season or worry about his ineptness all year long.
hey, look yall-- its the Memphis belle again trying to pit UK fans against each other..nice try but we're not stupid. Us UK fans love 5 star athletes. Oh by the way, Memphis has them too, hypocrite.

Really wanted him to play at UK. BIG MISTAKE CHOOSING WASHINGTON. Guess he wanted the spot light and nobody to get in his way for attention.
Did we even offer him a scholarship? I am glad we didn't get him, much better players out there for us.
I suppose since he AND T Jones didn't announce they were going together and at the same time it's a great sign for UK getting Jones.

Ross is the # 30 player in the top 100, I agree with the post above. Our appetite for 5 stars is getting absurd.
