For what it is worth, I am a die hard Memphis fan. I despise John Calipari and would never want him back in Memphis as a Coach. However that may be, I try to call straight, and in this case the Un iv of Memphis AD is being hypocritical. We offered the man $5MM to stay and we knew about the NCAA charges and now we want to go back and ask for Cal to return the $360K ! How petty can we be? Jeez
Primo, I've read some of your posts before and you are NOT a Memphis Fan. Nice try. However, that does not make your statement any less true. From what I've read the Memphis AD is at much at fault as Cal so they should drop it. But I wouldn't be so quick to hurl insults at Memphis as long as the most over-hyped and overpaid coach in basketball is in Lexington. 20 years of coaching an NO documented Final Fours, even with the most talented team in modern history (5-6 NBA draft picks). Memphis posted UK fans' take on Cal from 2 years ago and a lot (not all) of you guys are down-right hypocrites. Do any of you recall what you all called Cal back then? Do any of you remember your posts after Pitino left (and he did not take players, recruits, secretaries or whatever). Just saying be careful what you say now or don't have amnesia later.
Dear Anon, I am indeed a Memphis Fan. You have not read my posts before, because today is the first day I began using Primo instead of Anonymous on this site or any other. I freqently make comments on this site, mostly unfavorable comments about Cal. There may be another person using Primo, if so I will change it. I have great seats at the Forum and have since they day they opened. Not sure how you arrive at youre conclusions. You can ID yourself if you like.
Just sayin', I have been visiting this site for over a year. There doesn't seem to be many UK fans who care to respond to articles. If they do, they are mostly UK fans drooling and praising Cal. I am all for supporting one's coach, but the UK fans who do contribute here are just plain zombies. I changed my name a bit to make sure I am not duplicating somone else's use.
My apologies to you Primo-One, I know the fanbase Primo is really from (didn't want to put them on blast). You all have a great team lined up for next season so just sit back and enjoy NCAA BB regardless of your interest. Even thosee that hate UK can't lie about not enjoying Wall and the crew this year.

Please, Please, for God's keep Calipari...we really do not want him as our coach. If Memphis is the armpit of America then Lexington is it's butthole!
