Not true. He's a 4-2-4 transfer student (UF-MiamiDade-UK). So yes, he could sign another NLI. See www.ncaa.org FAQs ("Do I have to sign an NLI every year?").
It does give the players a good measure of protection, but unlike Knight, we don't know Vargas' motivation. Maybe he had no other choice because the Wednesday deadline for signing an NLI had passed. Story doesn't say.
Wheatgerm, I didn't know that. I was under the impression you can sign only one during your college career. I didn't read it yet but I will. So, your telling me a lot of people out there are misinformed on this including the so called experts? hmm...!Thanks
