Jerry Meyer from Rivals.com says Kentucky is the team to beat for the services of 2011 center Michael Chandler
Is Cal over-recruiting for 2011? He's got room to sign one more player without losing someone from the current team. So who's it going to be: Michael Chandler, Quincy Miller, Ryan Rhoomes, Austin Rivers, someone else? Where is the greatest need: a true center (6-10 220 Chandler), a power forward (6-8 193 Miller, 6-8 210 Rhoomes), an unstoppable shooting guard (6-3 175 Rivers)?
I'm with you Wheatgerm, I would have thought with TJones signing Cal'd sit on one for next years class which could literally be the highest rated class ever if it continues to develop like it has so far..... especially with a potential lockout.
I would bet big money we are going to lose at least 2 players from this years class, most likely Jones and Kanter. Therefore, we really have 3 open (as long as we don't get docked some scholarships for bad grades). That's plenty enough to try to get Miller, Rivers and Chandler. Wroten Jr. would be a great pickup if we lost Knight too. Another interesting thing here is that Cal wants to sign another player for this years class.... I think it's safe to say he is counting on losing some people after this season.
Getting Chandler would be rubbing more salt into the wound and I love it. I live in Louisville and I'm so sick of these morons trying to act like UofL actually means something on a national level and has a program on par with UK. As the saying goes, "it's great to be a UK fan living in Louisville (right now)."
im a fan of intrastate rivalries..so i dont ever wish bad upon Louisville. im also disappointed that Indiana doesnt have the program that they had in the past. i just like good rivalries- if youre glad that Uof L sucks, well what good is that? Uk wants to win against good/great teams right? Thats why this next coming year i will be fired up that Tennessee, Florida and the rest of SEC will be better- and believe me they will. These make for better games. The better the SEC, the better we will be in post tourney play!! UK is gonna be really good this year-maybe a few more losses, but by the end of the season, we will be playing like veterans and make a run for the title!!

The LVille Tard's are gonna go ape$hit if we steal him also....the hatred grows....lol..
Pissing off the UW fans with Jones was unfortunate. But pissing of UL fans? First with Teague, then with Chandler? Priceless.
