These ppl from uw and all there fans and reporters kill me. They are so mad that they didnt get jones that they act like little kids callings and pointing fingers. By the way did anybody even know who washinton was or even really cared till the whole jones thing because i sure didnt. Hell i didnt even know there coach name or one of there players
I wish there was a way for Coach Cal to file a lawsuit against some of these people. I too am sick of all the "badmouthing" ...aimed both @ UK and Coach Cal. Surely, in such a litigious society, by now there must have been some law broken as the result of all of the rumors and FALSE statements that have been made.
Stupid writers--Its easy to write negative/sleazy reporting because its speculation - its not a talent. ok so Yeah, you know, reality of it all is that the big schools get the big recruits -with or without that "sneaky" Calipari! His schools were reprimanded, justice was served, but its just not enough is it? Oh well, lets ignore it and move on folks. Washington we will see you in Maui and you can get it all out of your system there.
I can imagine the complaint to the NCAA. "We at UW don't like it that Calipari and the University of Kentucky are better than us. Please punish them in some way since our feelings are hurt really, really bad."
IMO, UW has more of a complaint with Jones than UK. I'm sure that UW's "complaint" has ZERO merit.
Honestly, why would UW even want Jones? His best buddy is going there, its close to home, BUT he still couldn't stick to UW. IMO that means that HE chose to go elsewhere....nobody twisted his arm. If a recruiter has the power to take an individual away from that situation, then the individual has very little willpower. Besides, Calapari was in Lexington when all this went down the first time. I believe he was even involved in charity work at the time. If Jones called Coach Cal to get approval of his commitment to UW then I would say that was a mistake. Who knows who called who anyway? Certainly, if he really wanted to go to UW he could have signed his papers before the INFAMOUS phone call with Coach Cal took place.
Bottom line: Somebody needs to get their panties out of their crack....and its not Coach Cal.

And what could possibly be the violation? By rule, coaches may continue to recruit a player after he commits. Only a letter of intent ends the recruiting process. And there was no letter of intent here. No letter of intent, no tampering.
Ignorance. Utter nonsense. Disappointment after losing Jones is understandable, but you never see this from Kentucky fans. We lose recruits all the time, and we don't throw fits like this. (Don't you know they're ready to blame Calipari somehow if he lands 2011 Seattle product Tony Wroten?)
KY fans are just plain ignorant. KY has not recruited anybody in how many years? Done any good in the Toruney in how long? Now comes King CAL to the hallowed ground and you get the best recruits around and "commited" players from other Universities and you think that everyone else is jeleous. Do you not even think for one second that this type of recruiting is a little bit unprofessional? If you don't then I stick with my first statement. You are TRULY IGNORANT AND ARROGANT. Please.....you can't see the fire because of the smoke!!!!!! rust me.....you will see the fire.

Nike needs to release a shirt with Cal's profile, the UK logo and maybe have the death star in the background...
the message should just be Nike ELITE - Embrace the Hate!
or maybe just a more cerebral shirt that says hey UW Fans - Sour Grapes are always seen as Blue
