Daniel Orton is one of the best examples of how the demand for size can influence a prospect to turn pro

I wish Daniel Orton the best and hope he goes in the lottery. I spent 5 tough years in college and now spend my days stressing out at work. If I had the opportunity that is in front of him I would take it also. Personally, I don't blame any team for taking a chance on him. He spent one year in the Mecca of college basketball, worked against Patterson and Cousins in practice and played in an uptempo system. With the exception to his blowup in the SEC tourney he appeared to be a model player. If he keeps his focus and continues to work hard he could be an outstanding player in two years.

I don't blame him at all for going pro, but not finishing classes proves he's not the quality person we all thought he was.

I agree. It does irk me when athletes that are on a full scholarship just quit when their season is up. I know their defense is they make alot of money for the university but show some respect and be greatful for the opportunity you are given.
