The University of Kentucky knows of no investigation going on by the NCAA

It's important to understand, both here and in the Bledsoe matter, that the absence of a notice of inquiry from the NCAA doesn't mean the NCAA isn't asking questions. UK would receive a notice of inquiry from the NCAA only if the NCAA were able to obtain "reasonably reliable information" of a violation. If it finds no such information, the matter dies.

So rather than obsess over a TMZ story, and all the spin-off stories reporting on the TMZ story, pay attention to whether UK ever gets a notice of inquiry. That's what tells you the NCAA has found something that's worth investigating.
