Bledsoe would be the cheater WG. The question remains who orchestrated the whole fiasco to get him passed. Why would a teacher do that? To get paid later when Bledsoe turned pro? It would be more likely that a person or persons involved with recruiting this kid would pull some strings to get him approved for College. But then again, we know that coaches, boosters or college staff personell would never do something like that. So it must have been masterminded by the kid that can't qualify for school. Just ask Bruce. Oh I'm sorry he did finally admit to cheating. My bad.
This is UK we are talking about here; nothing is going to happen. The NCAA only makes examples out of second-rate schools that no one cares about, like Memphis.
It's not a witch hunt. That implies there's nothing to be found, which we don't know to be true. And it's not about catching cheaters. That implies there was cheating, which we don't know to be true either.
No, it's just an investigation to find out, and because the findings haven't been released, it's premature to pretend to know what the truth is. (I'm hoping the night-school teacher knows what he's talking about.)
But that doesn't stop some people from proclaiming they know the truth. They confuse the "truth" with what they want to believe. And if it turns out they were wrong, they up the ante with their "UK must have paid someone off" argument, a favorite trick of conspiracy theorists. That way, they never have to admit they were wrong.
WG......it is about catching cheaters!!!! If not, explain how the grades reported and the real grades found in the investigation are different. A convenient mistake? I don't think so. It amazes me how people can contort what they read and make it fit the "positive" for their thinking.
"It's just an investigation to find out"? Are you kidding me? Who ordered the investigation WG? Did not the NCAA ask for transcripts and the the AL school said NO? And nobody is pretending to know the truth. You PRETEND that this is just another article to bring down KY with mere speculations and bending the truth. that is as far from the truth as one can get. Surely you are not so naive and mentally unstable as to believe that. Are you?
Get off your high horse and read the damn article again.
The grades were changed "so who did it" is what I asked? Someone orchestrated all of this and I can assure you that you will find out. Frankly, I don't want to see anyone or any team have to pay any penalties. But when you have someone that relentlessly operates in the gray area then things like this will never end. Whether it is the students fault or the staff's fault it creates an enviroment that constantly bashes the school and it's intents. It constantly brings about thoughts of deceit. This type of sh... is exactly what's ruining college sports.
If there was no cheating then so be it. If the school or the student was cheating then I hope the ruling is to make that entity dramatically pay for their deceit.
WG's first question is the most important: "Who cheated?"
The problem is that even if Eric Bledsoe cheated along with the school system (neither of which is yet known, though we will hopefully find out soon), people will extrapolate that into "Calipari is a cheater", or "UK is a bunch of cheaters." The point is that it is Bledsoe on trial, not UK and not Calipari. But that is not how the story will get spun.
If Eric cheated he deserves to be caught. But that doesn't mean UK deserves the scorn that it will almost certainly face from people who will chalk this up to another Calipari scandal.
I answered WG's first question or did you not read that part? Bledsoe is the cheater but he definately had help in getting approved for college. What would a teacher or a AL school have to gain by changing his grades? answer....NOTHING!!!!
So the most important question is.....WHO HELPED HIM GET HIS TRANSCRIPTS CHANGED SO HE COULD ENTER COLLEGE? ANSWER....SOMEONE WITH MONEY, INFLUENCE AND WHO NEEDED HIM. That is the real issue that will be devulged in the long run. It's not just your coach or your school but a lot of cheating is going on so a person that doesn't want to go to school and never really applied himself and lies to everyone so he can make big money in the NBA. That person would be a cheater and does not deserve the money or the recognition that he will recieve. But NO...he goes to our school and it's ok. F.... Off
lol @ anon 2 posts above. You must be one naive person if you believe this kind of stuff does not go on at just about every school in the nation. The majority of college football and basketball players could honestly care less about school, they want to get to the NFL/NBA. The best ones get stuff handed to them from grade school on and never study to get their A's. There is the occasional outstanding student who truly cares about school (Brandon Knight is a good example (or so it would seem)) but for the most part it's basketball/football first. College athletics is about sports not academics. School is a means to an end to reach their athletic goals and anyone who truly believes otherwise is a fool. College sports have been tainted for years, now the NCAA is literally on a witch hunt to try to clean it up (not just at UK either).
Oh yea.......I forgot to mention that OUR COACH IS ALSO PERFECT.....JUST CHECK HIS RECORD.....THERE HAS BEEN NOTHING PROVED......BUT THINGS JUST KEEP HAPPENING AROUND HIM AND HE IS AS INNOCENT AS A NEW BORN BABY!!!!
From all the sidetracking BS that I read from KY fans there must be a big law school there?
It's real strange that all the articles are stating what I have been stating but I seem to get all of this lip and bs from you idiotic fans. That is why I continue to come to this site. I love to argue with a bunch of hypocrytical idiots.
come on and give your take on this but first read all the articles that this web site has provided. I guess your going to tell me that they are all full of sh.. also.
Pound Sand KY fans....your going back into the shi.......
Darrell's situation @ KU is totally different. His grades were changed before his junior year - before any recruiting violation could occur. Bledsoe's were a last-second attempt to change his grades to get him into school

I agree wholeheartedly because so far I have been accused or associated with a lot of anon posts that were not mine, as well as being a UK hater and from Memphis, etc.........
However, (escpecially you Marc) keep me on the record for hoping Kanter gets cleared and nothing coming from this Bledsoe case.
Why?
Because I don't want UK fans or Cal (poor bench coach) to have any excuses for not winning the NC with yet another top class and superior talent. (I singled you out Marc because you like to keep score on these type of issues)
Hey anon poster........are you implying that Mardarchitecht is a PANSY???? I must agree. He can dish it out but can't take it. He must have been breast fed too long.

Buckle up....
I've never seen a bigger witch hunt.
WITCH HUNT????????
Catching a cheater or cheater's is not a witch hunt. It is called finding out the truth.
THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE!!!!!!
Or in this case......vacate your season.
Rest easy BBN. All has been taken care of. Behind the scenes things are happening to protect Kentucky from the NCAA.
So tell us, who would be the cheater in this story?
Bledsoe would be the cheater WG.

Same guy with such a pathetic life that he trolls other team's message boards. He's been cheated out of a good life. Who is to blame for that?

The Darrell Arthur situation on the Nat Champ Jayhawks team will be the key.

We seen this movie many times before.
It's a witch hunt because it will be the UK fan base that burns at the stake. No matter what happens, UK fans are innocent of any wrongdoing.

I don't keep score I just make educated assumptions based on past posts. Where are you from Tony and who is your college team of choice?
The problem is the anonymity of this comment section and there is no real way to overcome that.
Marc,
tony wont ever tell.
he's afraid he will be bothered, and harassed.
he likes to dish it out, but he just cant take it.
