I want to believe it, but I don't have much confidence in Cal's confidence. He seems to think it matters whether Kanter signed a FIBA contract. It doesn't.
It might turn out Kanter plays this year, but it won't be because he was too young to sign a contract.
WG, You really take the sting out of my thoughts on this Cal response. After a while I believe you guys will be looking back on a lot of his previous comments as well. It's been the same PR spin from him everywhere he's been.
But here's hoping all is well at the end of today (Bledsoe) and Kanter (eventually) so you can really find out what kinda coach you have.
