What a waste of money. They could of used that to buy new books or comouters but they waste it on nothing that will even them what so ever. This is whats wrong with the world
That's an argument you can make about any expenditure you don't like. The fallacy is thinking that if they didn't spend it on the investigation, the money would have gone instead to new books and computers. For all we know, the money comes out of a separate fund.
But there has to be room for this kind of thing. The school system has to be able to monitor itself if it ever hopes to make improvements.
Hopefully once released (and to our/Bledsoe's favor) this will finally be the end of it. Of course, the Reporter will 'stand by his story' afterwards anyway.
Who cares about journalists at this point? We're going to find out next week whether Bledsoe was academically eligible. We're going to find out next week whether the NCAA will vacate our season.
I read a similar investigative report from another Birmingham law firm on a high school football player, and I was most impressed at the level of detail. If there's anything there, they'll find it. Nothing to do now but keep my fingers crossed. And trust that the teachers and principal at Parker were sure of their facts when they talked to the press.
No need to worry Kentucky fans. The lawyers were hired to protect the school system in case they found things amiss. The lawyers will help them interpret the situation very carefully so the Birmingham school system doesn't lose face or is embarrassed. Eric Bledsoe will be shown to have legitimately made an A+ in every subject, regardless of what they find. Rest easy BBN, this how the game is played.
Amazing that you know the 'rest of us' so well. Quite a large number of people wouldn't you say. I applaud your admission of being clueless, but please don't speak for ' the rest of us'!

(I'm back to being nervous again.)

That money could have been used to buy more tackling dumbies for Saban's team. What a shame.

You are just as clueless as the rest of us until the report comes out.
