What Marc said. Huge impact on our team.

Latest is we should hear something around Nov. 1. Whichever way it goes, hope the NCAA releases a report. We're sure to get only one side of the story with Thamel.

Yep, all the pollsters have based their opinions without Enes on the squad. Each has stated they will have a different take should he be able to play.
Example: Jay Bilas- "UK is Top Ten if Kanter is cleared."

Tru's Oct. 16 article in A Sea of Blue:

"As far as Kanter is concerned, a little birdie told me that UK is still very optimistic about his eventual clearing by the NCAA. Right now, the smart people are focusing on around November 1st for word on his status. Keep hope alive, ladies and gentlemen of the Big Blue Nation."

I'm not one to place a lot of faith in little birdies, but Tru/Glenn is one of the most grounded, thoughtful and trustworthy bloggers out there.

And then there's this, from Brett Blevins, a scout for HoopsReport.com and a high school coach at Randall K. Cooper High School in Union, Ky: "To clarify b/c some have twisted my tweet. Kanter will serve a suspension. Bout 20% or 6 games. This comes from a NCAA compliance officer [...] She is one of the ladies that coaches commonly call "gestapettes". Very connected, says a decision should come soon. [...] The sticking point right now is how many games to suspend Kanter if any at all...FINGERS CROSSED."
