UK showing heavy interest in 2011 four star center Adjehi Baru

I saw some videos of this kid the other day and I have to say I like his intensity. If in fact that is the way he plays for an entire game, I can see why the staff is interested in him. He seems to have a passion for the game and a great deal of talent (even though my observation is based on videos that are obviously a compilation of his best plays). Hopefully we land him but it seems like UK is playing catch up for now.
ESPN has him at 225 lbs, still rather light for a center. But their evaluation of him is solidly positive. They give him a 96, same as Chandler and Marshall Plumlee. Johnny O, Christmas and Zeller get 97s:
"Strengths: His energy level and activeness is rare for a post player as he is relentless in running the floor or persuing the ball off the glass. He is surprisingly skilled and is a good passer that can make plays facing up or with his back to the basket. When he catches in the low block he is patient and understands how to make the defender commit before he makes his move. He is a very good help side shot blocker that alters as many as he blocks and showed a good feel for playing without fouling.
Weaknesses: Like most young post players he has some habits that he will need to break to be effective at the next level. He brings the ball down to where the guards can get it instead of chinning it and exploding through, but that will improve in time. He needs to continue to improve his hand strength as he gets to balls outside of his area when rebounding but doesn't secure as many as he could with improved strength.
Bottom Line: Baru, who will be an impact player as a freshman as a rebounder and shot blocker, has evolved into one of the top center prospects in the country by virtue of his motor and desire to dominate his position. He has a nasty disposition when patrolling the paint and takes it personally when someone scores inside.

Nasty disposition when patrolling the paint AND shows a good feel for playing without fouling?
Me likes.
