I'm not sure Knight or Lamb will leave after this year. Last year was a fluke, one that will help our recruiting for years. My guess is that we'll end up with 4 guys or so a year; two will be one-and-done. We'll soon have a roster full of 5 star and high 4-star guys with several upper class.
After watching Tubby's last couple years and Billy fail, I'll take a new approach for a while.
the odds are decidedly against. i think schools such as IU rationalize not getting the crean of the crop (see what i did there, did you see?). it makes them feel good to say their approach - like they intentionally chose it over calipari's! - is better in the long run. that's cool. whatever gets you through the night.
agree with one of the comments over there. crean will be vying for conference title in 2-3 years, while cal will be vying for a national championship. that sounds about right.
Sure, write back to me when they become competitive in the Big10.
Agree on your first statement fake, the pius will always lay claim to such. You can bet your azz that if Crean or any other coach could pull in Cal's crop of freshmen every year they'd be doing it.
Nah, probaly not, they probably try real hard to recruit lesser players.
