I hope Billy G has spent his down time wisely by shaking the booze habit and learning some player management skills.

AGREED! But I think he need to go to a weaker conference, show he can coach to get his reputation back. I think he will be a good coach again eventually if he goes about it the right way!

In TX, they prefer to do things to tough way, even if it is twice as difficult and half as effective as the smart way. He'll do fine again down there.

Why invest in a 50 year old three time drunk with more arrogance than social skills and a history of developing a defiant attitude to his employers. Why wast an opportunity on a proven loser. Don't think Texas Tech would ever make that mistake. This is just more irresponsible sports journalism.
