We stopped doing what worked so well for us: faster pace, outside shots. Did we shoot a 3 in the last 8 minutes? We became deliberate, almost like we were running out the clock. Looked like the first half against Boston. And I think that's on coach.
Yeah, we need Tony. $40,000 a year would make him an awfully happy man. Not only would we save $3,960,000 a year, we'd have a much better record than our current 40-5 embarrassment under Calimari.
Nice $40 observation from your couch. Look he's a great recruiter and motivator but without superior talent he's an average in-game coach. Even Wheatgerm can see that.
He built his record off weak C-USA teams after the elite coaches left (check his record against them while they were there) and then used his car salesman tactics to sell it for $40 million. Shouldn't expect anything more or less from him.
gee - we beat Vandy ( mens basketball) last year . but if we get beat by them this year, they will have "owned " us.
just because its UNC it feels worse, doesnt it? Because weve been beat by Vandy in recent years you dont hear people sayin "i hate getting OWNED by Vandy!"

Total passion, no analysis, no logic. I despise losing to UNC more than ANYONE else. Yes, that includes Louisville.
There are a number of factors why UK lost this game today but no matter the loss remains . . . venting.
