Mark Wiedmer of the Chattanooga News-Free Press says if Jones, Knight and Liggins all turn pro, UK won't be much better than last year’s model, which went 2-6 on the road in an average SEC before jelling late

There is a grain of truth in there though, young teams on the road generally have difficulty.

Good article. Cal has done a great deal for Kentucky in the past two years, but that is only true because of how far it had fallen. UNC's program appears to be in better shape. Two championships in the last six years and more blue chip players choosing the college experience over the NBA makes most neutral observers see them as the king of the hill. Sorry to be so frank, but Kentucky has much left to accomplish to get their program back to where it was.
