To play the dribble-drive offense Calipari expects, Marquis Teague is going to have to get better at involving teammates

If the Knicks keep floundering, we may never know (Teague) if he will under Cal.
If you think Cal is leaving for the Knicks, you need to have your head examined. Cal isn't goin anywhere. As for Teague, he will get his teammates involved, there's no question about it.
From watching Teague in these All-star games I'm not seeing any problems with his passing to team mates. And that's in games where showboating is the norm. Can't say the smame for Rivers...
Do you guys hate/jealous of Duke that much? A. Rivers is a complete stud. (I know you believe only Cal & UK can land studs). Also, if you watched the game closely, tell me who in the world do you think K. Wiljer can guard?
Kentucky fans would have a problem with Rivers even if he was coming to UK. He does not pass the ball for the most part in the two All-Star games and the International Game (Nike Hoop Summit). Our fans have viewed this as selfish play.
He is a self-described 'combo guard' ... short of some lob-passes to McAdoo in the Jordan Game (0 Assists in the Nike Hoop Summit) that aspect of his game has not been demonstrated.
He is an excellent offensive player for his class and I'm confident that Coach K will point out what he needs to work on to get his entire team involved.
In his defense regarding his HS team, he was the primary scorer, not much help around him, so he is accustomed to taking the shot when he gets them. However those HS days are over now and its a new game to learn. His lack of defense also stands out but that usually is every HS player's bane (expect Gilchrist).
Kyle Wiltjer must work on defense like everyone else but he is 6'9" with a wide wingspan .. that cannot be taught.
good points Glenrider. Also Wiltjer was playing with the top athletes in his age group. He is considered somewhere in the range of being ranked #20 somethin. Compare to the top athletes, yeah he isnt the best, but shows potential. I look forward to him being around for a few years- Cal will make him a player. About teague: wow, he is freakn good. Also did you guys see Tony Wroten with the passing he does--Damn- that one no look behind the back/over the head was crazy. Its not that Rivers is going to Duke--its just he does seem a bit selfish. Duke can have him. Next year UK has some guys with REAL motors on them!

No problem with anything posted but except this comment because if any selfish, knuckleheaded kid with talent that signs with UK, the response is not the same with UK. The usual sentiment is Cal can straighten him out. It's a big double-standard. No difference than when studs sign elsewhere they immediately gets bashed from UK fans or we never offered. It's comical at times on UK sites because of all the hypocrisy.
I only made reference to Rivers BECAUSE he is the #1 point guard in the class and his lack of assists in the all-star games was noticeable. Short of that he is without a doubt a super talented guard and can be a scoring machine. I'm sure the coach that shall not be named will make a better PG out of him.... :)

..thanks for the daily dose of rumor mongering...
....couldn't think of a different one today?

I'll stand by my statement, if you don't believe UK fans will not break down any player .. then you don't know the BBN very well.
