heres a good question for you all: Does Lacey seem like a 5 star athlete to you all? Not me. Ive watched video of him, and yeah he looked good against an average opponent- mostly shot from outside- didnt have the rebound hustle im used to seeing from 5 star guards. I dont think its be a bad pickup, im just questioning the rating. He's a 3or4 star at most IMHO. Also, I dont think hes going to UK.I think he is Kansas or Alabama(leaning towards Alabama)
Until just recently he has been rated a 4-Star. Averaged 30 points per game in HS ... the 2-guard spot is his strong suit. Have no idea where he ends up but UK's position should have improved with Knight and Liggins leaving.
They're pretty stingy with giving out 5 star ratings. I'll take their word on it... :)
Alabama Mr Basketball two years in a row(only done once before)
Led team to 3 strait state basketball championships(2 5A + 1 4A)
Averaged 32 ppg
6 foot 4 inches tall
He was a Class 5A first-team selection three straight years and the class Player of the Year in 2010 before earning Class 4A Player of the Year and first team this season.
We'll be deeper in rotation numbers but will not have a 270lb big body in the middle. We'll have to utilize solid defense and our shot blocking abilities(Davis). Solid 7 man rotation and maybe 8.
Miller Jones Teague Gilchrist Davis Lamb Wiltjer Vargas Hood Beckham
Beckham not available until the Spring Semester ... I think that's correct. Know little about him except what they say on KSR ... that he didn't see the floor at Miss St. He red-shirted his sophomore year.
I'm hoping that greater numbers means we might increase the tempo more .. full court trap, etc. Players rotate in-and-out more for rest ... more minutes to go around.
But Cal probably will not know for certain what hand he's been dealt until after Midnight Madness ... team chemistry, yada, yada, yada.
hood and poole wont see any time this year unless we have some blowouts...anybody know if poole is making any progress??...he didnt play AT ALL towards the end of the season

I'll take him....
I'm sold too
Are we looking at any other big men for next year. Doesn't appear that we will be any deeper next year than we were this past year?
