It does seem like just a matter of time until Calipari wins a national championship at UK

Cal may never win a championship. Let’s not forget, as good as he recruits, he loses them as fast as he gets them - and experienced stars are usually a required commodity in assured success scenarios. The longer he stays, the better the odds will be for him to win a championship. But nobody should assume that an NCAA crown is a forgone conclusion. As grounding as that idea may be, nobody in Kentucky will deny that Cal is a God send, and we will support him and his fine family win or lose – to the end.
heck, 2 things would make me happy. 1 is to be consistently competitive for a title. No kidding right?.. And 2nd, not to choke like Kansas did the last 2 years. Kentucky basketball is THE top program, when you combine fan base, tradition, all time wins etc etc etc.. If Cal doesnt win a championship, his legacy will be of wins, great players, great basketball. Isnt that what we all want in the end, sprinkled with a championship here or there? So in other words, fuck off if you dont like his one and done recruiting style.

I've heard this since his last 3-4 years at Memphis. With the turnover of roster each year, his chances are on par with most others.
