Julius Mays harbors aspirations of playing in the NBA and if he was to move towards that goal, there are few better roads to get there than the Wildcats and Calipari

If Harrellson was able to make a two year go of it, Julius should be able to last couple of months - until the execs that would give him a contract based on empathy alone understand he is size and talent challenged and had marginal qualifications playing DI, let alone playing in the League. Against a top NBA defender he could be stripped on half the attempts and he could not get a shot off to save his butt. As far as his defensive effectiveness in the league - let's just say he would be totally ineffective and leave it go.

No dislike of Julius, but he simply isn't NBA Material. Nice of Cal to go see him play and give him props, but it's a show of support and little else.

yeah, they're always giving out contracts "based on empathy" in the NBA. They're quite the charity org indeed. You must be afraid he's gonna get drafted over some of your boys.
