Ken Berger from CBSSports.com says the drumbeat begins in the background for Calipari to make his long-awaited return to the NBA with the New York Knicks

Cal has been there, done that, and has learned from the Pitino saga that it just isn't the same in the NBA. not as many carrots to make the players work hard. Cal has already said he has more than enough money so that couldn't be much motivation to jump. What could be better than being responsible for teaching 90% of the No. 1 picks and re establishing a college basketball dynasty.

If/when Cal does go back to the NBA it will be in a "no risk" fashion. It will have to be a championship contender team in a major market and nothing less. He knows he is in his element coaching the college game and I think he truly wants to win more NCAA championships before retiring. However, don't think he may not give the Pro's another try a few years down the road.....
