How about the screwing the Cats got once again in Tourney seeding?
The whole region is a big cluster #uck. #1 Wichita State got royally screwed as a whole and UL got perhaps an even worse screwing in their #4 seed... You have 4 legitimate #1 seeds in this region, a fact the head of the committee doesn't even deny, WSt, UL, Duke, Mich....... I bet WSt head coach's head is about to explode. Toss in a 2nd game possible match up with the bi-polar Cats and that guy is going to need an antidepressant!
I think this proves without a doubt that when the committee has the chance they set up the brackets to maximize possible TV big game match-ups. Ky in the same region as UL, Duke and Mich and the only "undefeated" team in the tourney...BS.... crooked NCAA once again pandering to the $....
It's hard to argue with your reasoning Marc. Year after year, with the exception of our 2012 run, UK seems to get the shaft, this year UofL did too. My favorite time of the night is when the Committee Head appears to justify their efforts. It's good for a few laughs usually. A room full of monkeys could either do as well or better I think.
Katz ask him point blank to compare Va #1 to #4 UL, he said they were very close to identical!!!! LOL!
He wouldn't even touch on then why was UL a 4 and not say a 2??? Andy Katz just looked at him like "what an idiot"!
To further make a point of TV driving the show just take a look at the West, it is chock full of teams west of the Mississippi to keep the west coast audiences interested. Teams that should be traveling more due to their seeding are staying regional.... We should have been in Baylors 6 spot out there.....

The Committee "did it's it's best" with fan interest at heart" - like Time Warner is "passing on the savings" with their yearly rate increases
Lol it has been full of laughs. I thought it odd as well when the West Bracket came out ... Never seen that before, ever.
