So Brandon Knight did not sign a LOI, he is open game, as Teague and Gilchrest. Yes Kentucky slime buckets this goes both ways..it is ow open season recruiting. Go Rick, Go Ville, the game has been renewed by John Calipari.

"The whole point of signing with a school is to enforce a two-way commitment: The school and the prospect swear to love each other, in sickness and in health, in the NCAA tournament and the NIT. Schools can take scholarships away after players spend a year on campus (which I don't like, but that's another column). The Letter of Intent ends the recruiting process."
That's not from UK fans. That's from Sports Illustrated. It's the LOI that ends the recruiting process. So yes, as Rosenberg goes on to explain, that means coaches may still try to pry Knight away from UK. That's how it works, notwithstanding the knee-jerk reaction of the haters.

I've been reading the comments to Percy Allen's column in The Seattle Times for quite some time now, and I've found the Dawg fans to be really good guys. Unlike the posters on Louisville's Courier-Journal or Memphis’ Commercial Appeal, they usually enjoy a friendly and intelligent discourse, even with fans from other schools, at least the ones who don't act like dicks. Only occasionally do you see anything untoward. But I have to cut them enormous slack today, because their quick emotional reaction is totally understandable. I'd be pissed, too. I don't think our Anon. friends here today are from the Pacific Northwest. I'd guess somewhere closer to home.

Perhaps you can explain it to them in whatever languagae you guys speak. Finally, I never note who I cheer for because it only gives the lesser minds an easy way to dismiss facts or reasonable logic. God forbid I say I am a Louisville, Memphis or Jayhawk fan then it becomes lil brother, hate and/or jealousy. Never anything to advance the dialogue. Whatever he decides I wish him the best, i just hope hes happy with his choice. Its crazy to think he was sitting at the table and STILL didnt know. I cant imagine the pressure he was feeling.
Message to Coach Donovan - Please resume your recruitment of Brandon Knight. He has not committed to Kentucky. As we have seen by John Calipari's disrespect for Terrence Jones verbal, which cares little for, it is time to follow suite. To all coaches, please show Kentucky the same courtesy it showed to the University of Washington.
