Calipari says he will remain UK's coach and isn't searching for other jobs

Everybody understands those things except ESPN. And evidently even ESPN doesn't understand that Kentucky likely would never attempt to hog tie their coach with a stiff buyout clause AKA a "Tubby Smith deal". Instead look for the new contract to allow for him to walk free and clear if he so chooses. The purpose of renegotiation is to remove Cal's contract as a potential impetus for any dissatisfaction. At any time Cal could develop other interests that would cause him to leave. That's life. Two things ESPN has a good feel for is the possibility that Cal would leave (in a heart beat) should there be any NCAA penalties imposed on him.
And the fact that we should enjoy him while he is here. One factor that is being overlooked is that Cal is still chasing a championship and won't likely leave until he gets it, and would never leave while Gilchrist is still here (because of his friendship and respect for WWW). That's all good news for the near future. The bad news is, that all conditions for a departure might be in place by April of 2012.

I am betting on Travis coming home. Any takers?

Hey Wheatgerm, Glenrider, and icky,
I guess all of those folks in Chicago booing the possiblity of Calipari coaching the Bulls must be Kentucky haters. In fact, it must be that all of those complaining are from Memphis. Yeah that's it, they moved from Memphis to Chicago to boo Kentucky.

You need top see the light here...we dont hate Kentucky, we dont even give a crap about Kentucky....it is your master manipulator that we detest, just as the Bulls fans do.
Everytime something negative comes up, Cal orchestrates an egotistical diversion.
You didnt get to the final foul- negative..now the diversion-5 players to the NBA and a new set of one and dones.
Kentucky BB team posts lowest GPA of any sport at KY..negative. TJones-Negative Now the diversion- Bulls coaching job.
We have seen it for years at Memphis..the same frickin pattern.
Go ahead and bash me, call me an idit, call me hater, if it makes you feel better...but you better think about what I said, because soon you will get bitten.

"Hey Wheatgerm, Glenrider, and **ky,"
**eeky is of course a close personal friend of mine ... a wonderful human being. I cannot speak for him. Wheatgerm ... a massive intellect.

But I would like to say to you Anon ...
"Thank You" for keeping us in your thoughts each day. Happy Trolling.

The University of Memphis and its fans went through this 'fear of Cal leaving' every single year that he was here. He is a genius and a master at teasing and swaying the fans. He gets what he wants. And Kentucky is bending all the eway over to take it in the backside and are happy with it.
Oh it doesn't hurt now, but it will later.

Aaron, can't you ban this troll by his IP address? I mean after all, this is a Kentucky Basketball blog. Censorship is one thing but enduring this rambling "idit" AKA "Anonymouse in Memphis", is another.

Gillespie is no longer at kentucky, you guys don't mind bashing him.
Good ole freedom of speech...say goodbye when you are on a KY site.

kind of naziesk to suggest that, isn't it 'anonymous'

Let's see there are only 3 or 4 people who respond to anything on this site...ever.
So if this is just a conversation between you 3 or 4, then say so and ban me. But if you do Aaron will be spending the greater part of his time banning the multitude of folks I will send to this site to make comments.
Maybe then this will be a popular site visited by others beside Glenrider, Whaeatgerm, and icky.

A well constructed statement can often speak for many who find it unnecessary to post should they agree with it. This site is often referenced in other Forums and Aaron has labored to achieve a favorable status in the BBN. I personally believe he has done so by gathering articles and practicing his own "Prime Directive" of Non-Interference among the Posters. To upset him seems to be most difficult in his quest to be "fair".
Also it is unclear just how many "Anonymous" poster there are, repeat posters? the same? Difficult to tell. But its easy to single those of us who do use individual 'names'. But make no mistake ... we are not alone here.

Cal will probably be at UK for 6 years or 1 or 2 championships--whatever comes first.

eeky, how in the world did you come up with those numbers? Did you shake your iPhone?
